Liverpool Street Portraits

Occasionally, I get the urge to take portraits of random strangers in the street.  Okay, maybe not always so random, but people who catch my eye.  Today was one of those such days and I was in Liverpool city centre with time on my hands.  After a little wandering around, I came across two guys.

This is Joe Danher, guitarist of F.O.E.S.  I asked Joe what one thing he associated Liverpool with; perhaps something he loved about the city.

The Egg Cafe.  It’s a constant for me as I’ve been going there since I was 15 and now I’m 26.

This is Lee Glynn, guitarist of Sound of Guns.  Lee is originally from Australia and I asked him what brought him to Liverpool.  He said he came for the music, but stayed for a (scouse) girl.

Liverpool is a place that facilitates dreams.  You’ve got to jump in feet first.  It’s a place that rewards hard work.
